memQ, Inc. CEO Manish Singh was invited to join Chicago area technology leaders to meet and share input with Stefanie Tompkins, Director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), during a recent visit to the area.
The group discussed the metro area’s efforts to advance the quantum and post-silicon chip ecosystem, into which both the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois have invested heavily in order to establish a world-leading metro ecosystem. DARPA is expected to be investing over $700M during the course of the next 5 years for advances that move us “beyond silicon” (quantum is a major focus) in the computing realm.
