memQ was in rare company as we were highlighted in the White House ‘Office of Science & Technology Policy Highlights: Year One’ report that was published this week, calling out our work with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) that, “…blends the science of quantum technologies with proven, existing semiconductor manufacturing processes to deliver reliable production of quantum networking components at scale.”

It’s encouraging to see national attention on the work to solve hard engineering problems in quantum, such as what is needed to not only connect different quantum systems without collapsing the quantum state, but to do so using proven semiconductor manufacturing technologies to enable scale. These capabilities will be required to deliver successful scale-out architectures, modular growth, and blind cloud quantum computing in a commercially feasible way.
